DATASET OVERVIEW

Abstract

Natural disasters like flood and drought occurs almost every years in Bangladesh. In recent years (2004 and 2007) the occurrence of flood in Meghna river basin hampers the development of the country. Moreover, there is a shortage of observational data hampers proper monitoring of flood situation and utilization of forecasting techniques. The inundation areas are widely extended through the country.
